iPhone 5: My Review
I’ve read through all the tech pundits reviews of the iPhone 5.
Even the people who’s job it’s been for years to describe technology in a way that makes normal people “get it”. And I’d go so far as to say, if you believe it’s a great product, that your job isn’t to make people get it but also that they need it.
And yet, they still talk about features and Siri and thinness and it being light and screens and blah blah fucking blah.
Well, I’m pissed.
Tell me how a storyteller would tell me. Make me feel a connection like Steven Spielberg did to me in E.T. Make me cry like the folks at Pixar made me do while I watched the opening scene of Up.
I’m a human being. I have a mind. But I won’t follow your cause with logic. Speak to my heart. Be my personal Braveheart and make me believe FREEDOOMMMM.
If you were sitting next to me right now, you’d feel how hard I’m smashing the keys on my MacBook Air because I believe in this so damn much. I’m sick of everyone in the tech community pandering. I’m sick of them not pushing the bar. People deserve better. People deserve something human, something emotional.
Stop leading with technology. Just stop it. It’s not about that.
You don’t have to agree with me, that’s what makes America great, and I absolutely love that about my country and about you. That you have an opinion and you’re fired up enough to express what you believe.
But this is what I believe. Go that Last 3% or don’t go at all.
