But in both cases, it centers around the why. They’re trying to understand the world around them. There’s a circular loop, it seems, where they cycle between the two. Finding answers and theorizing answers.

Sometimes, the answers are too hard to understand, so they make them up. Until they aren’t. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how our world view develops.

And, at least in my eyes, why we both lose our imaginations and why it’s so hard to change someone’s viewpoint. If I’ve had the same viewpoint established and confirmed a million times in my life, then you try to change it with one thing, it’s just not going to happen.

It seems like this is also relevant for introducing people to scary software. Just remember, use your powers for good, not evil.
